Welcome to the live stream of the occasion of the superannuation of Mrs Shanthi Sarvothaman from Canara Bank, Mandaveli Branch .
Mrs Shanthi Sarvothaman ( daughter of Mrs Ranganayaki and Mr V Ragothama Rao) , an ardent cricketer in her initial days, completed her graduation from QMC and started working in Canara Bank in 1983 in Arichalur , Erode. Following this , she has worked in multiple branches including Vaniyambadi, Gopalapuram, Tuticorin , Mylapore Vivekananda College extension, Royapettah ,Mylapore Main ; before joining Mandaveli branch.
This event is a celebration of 4 decades of not just professional service in the bank, but also juggling and balancing out family life bringing up three sons – who are now joined with three daughters-in-law and three granddaughters.
During her spare time , she has donned different hats including honorary positions in organizations like Indian Vegetarian Congress and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.
We invite you to join in the celebration of the four decade career which embodied ” small things that you do daily is more important than rare things you may do once in many years ”

Proud of Shanthi and her achievements. I have been a beneficiary of her excellent services at Mandaveli branch even though I am an ex-employee. She is doing yeoman services to the community outside the Bank as well. I wish her the very best in her retired life. It is only re-tire ment and I am sure she will be even more active with her religious activities. I remember her joining the Bank in 1983 and fortunate to see her retirement function as well. Incidentally her husband Sarvothaman are classmates rather benchmates in our graduation. Both of them are extremely helpful and religious. I wish them both a happy, healthy, purposeful retired life.
